A CAN panel mount (M8 5-pin to JST-GH 4-pin) with an onboard 24 V to 5 V regulator is a compact interface used in DroneCAN systems to connect CAN-enabled devices. It features a 5-pin M8 connector for panel-mount installation and field connection, wired according to DroneCAN standards, and a 4-pin JST-GH connector for device-side connection. The integrated DC-DC converter steps down 24 V input from the CAN power line to a regulated 5 V output, supplying both power and CAN signals to downstream 5 V devices. It is intended for use in enclosures where the external connection must be rugged, while the internal side connects to lightweight components such as sensors.
